Write for Travel Nursing and become famous!

Are you an expert in Travel, Nursing or a Healthcare related field? If you are, we are always looking for guest authors to share their expertise on our blog. Here is the criteria we are looking for:

  • Articles about travel nursing career advice, lifestyle, finances, education, fitness and entertainment.
  • Every article must relate to travel nurses, not just nursing in general.
  • If you include links in your article, it must be relevant to the article and anchor text.

If you are interested, it doesn’t have to be on a regular basis (although that would be great too) it could be just a series of articles or a periodic submission. We are also interested in forming relationships in which we guest post for you as well.

Send me an email at and let us know what topics you are interested in writing about.

**If you are just looking for a blog to share your non-related links or to pay us for your links, then this is not the place for you. We prefer expert advice that will be valuable to our readers.

Here is a look back at some of the great Travel Nursing Guest Authors:

I would love the opportunity to write not only on the internet for others to read and comment on but alos the chance to write a book. As a nurse myself who has been qualified for 2years i feel theres something missing from leactures within the universities of today and within nursing practice… teaching and learning about the profession in the 18th and 19th century. I feel this is important, as i feel that you need a depper understanding about the history of a profession before entering it. I am very apssoniate about history myself, and would love to write a book not only about the history of nursing but also medication and the the revolution of new techniques and ideas which are changing nursing today.

I was a travel nurse with American Mobile for 4 travel assignments. Although I am no longer working for the company, I did have a great experience with AMN. My recruiter was Jen Keslik. She kind of was like a wise big sister to me and made me feel as comfortable as possible during my travels. She would always make sure I had exactly what I needed and requested (within reason) and if I had a question or an issue, she would make sure it got resolved promptly. On another note, sometimes it is frustrating when you have so many documents to submit to them so they can complete your file and make sure everything is compliant with joint commission, but it’s part of being a travel nurse. I would advise people to keep copies of everything in a file. Shot records, licenses in each state, ACLS BLS PALS cards. Etc., TB tests, varicella titer, birth certificate, SS card, all that stuff. It makes it easier so you don’t have to track down things at the last minute. I also had to remind myself that this company has to get all their travelers’ credentials and have their file complete when they start the assignment and they have to call and just make sure it gets done. That can be difficult for them I would imagine. You must take initiative to get these things done though. It takes some getting used to, but it was a great experience and as a result I stayed permanently in the city I took my last assignment in because I loved it so much (and who wouldn’t love NYC). It’s a great way to see different cities and see if it is a right fit for you long term. It doesn’t have to be that though. It can be just a nice getaway for a brief time. The housing they provide is very nice. The housing subsidy is also very good if you choose to take that route. If you need a “go-getter” kind of recruiter, I would recommend Jen Keslik. I was really lucky to have her. American Mobile is a good company to travel with. Best of luck!
