Where do you really make more?

As a travel nurse you will have a lot of opportunities to make more money and live in a wide variety of locations, but just a quick word of caution. When you first hear the compensation packages for one area over another you may fall in love with the higher sounding per hourly travel nursing pay. But if you don’t take the difference of cost of living into account you may be short changing yourself. Even with so many of your living expenses covered during a travel nursing assignment you will still find that the cost of living still affects you, because all else being equal you will have similar benefits from one company to the next.

To help you out with this as you plan your next travel nursing job we have partnered with to bring you a Travel Nursing Cost of Living Calculator. Check it out and let us know what you think.
