Ask a Travel Nurse: Are There any Travel Nursing Forums for the Gay Population?

Share

Gay Travel Nursing ForumsAsk a Travel Nurse Question:

Are there any travel nursing forums for the gay population? Are partners generally allowed to live in the provided housing too? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Ask a Travel Nurse Answer:

Hi. Searching specifically for forums for gay travel nurses might be too focused a subject. If you are interested in LBGT activities, I would do a search for the area in which you are thinking of traveling. It would be much easier to find a forum for gay lifestyles in Chicago versus gay travel nurses. However, here are three great forums especially for Travel Nurses that you might want to explore:

ultimatenurse.com

Delphi Forums

Healthcare Travel Book

When you travel, you can generally invite who you like. Yes, you are on an assignment, but your living arrangements would be governed by the housing in which you are staying. I have not heard of travel companies charging any extra to have someone accompany you in your travels unless you are adding them to your insurance or require a two bedroom apartment for extra space.

Hope this helps.
