Didn’t read the Scrub Brand Breakdown Part-1? See here
Every time you turn around there is a new brand of scrubs out there. Is there any real difference in what you are getting? YES! While there are some styles and cuts that are basically the same across many brands, there is typically a huuuge differences in the different brand scrubs you buy. Without further ado we will jump back into our break down of the major scrub brands.
Today we are going to talk about two brands from the same scrub “family.” Both Landau and Urbane are made and manufactured by the same parent company. The Landau Company is still family owned and operated. They take their uniforms seriously and have a great reputation for service & style.
- Urbane, a member of the Landau family, was one of the first two major brands we carried on Scrubadoo.com. Urbane scrubs are 100% women’s styles and cuts. There are no men’s Urbane scrubs. This allows them to really concentrate on feminine fit & style. Unlike many of the brands that make a little bit of everything, Urbane’s specialization allows them to make sure what they do, they do right. Simply stated, Urbane scrubs are our best selling brand made exclusively for women.
- One of the oldest and most tried and true scrub brands out there, Landau is truly a staple in the uniform industry. It is one of the few brands that can compete with Cherokee as far as breadth and depth of products available. The traditional Landau scrubs have a great soft feel to them, especially after a wash. They are long lasting, hold up well, and are very comfortable.
- If Price is your primary concern, Landau has recently re-worked their ScrubZone line of scrubs. They are truly a great value. The line has all of your standard cuts and competes very closely with the Cherokee WorkWear line. They are a little less expensive than the Cherokee line, and also a little lighter weight material. Because of their combination of value and durability, we often use the ScrubZone line with our groups to satisfy all of their wholesale scrub needs.
