Finding your own housing as a Travel Nurse can be a little difficult, especially if you’re not sure where to look. A great online site has been gaining in popularity since its inception in 2008.
Airbnb is an online community marketplace to list, discover, and book housing accommodations all around the world with listings in 19,000 cities and 192 countries. From castles to sailboats, the possibilities are endless. If you are a Travel nurse using your own housing, this might be a great new tool for you to checkout.
It’s free to browse and list your housing rentals; however, they charge a 3% closing cost for each reservation that you are paid to cover processing guest payments. FYI, this is only when you are renting out your space. It’s ridiculously easy to sign-up, just connect with your facebook account. They also provide a convenient mobile app for on-the-go browsing and posting.
