Looking for stuff to do on your next travel nursing job?
If you are looking for something fun to do on your next travel nursing job check out Upcoming. If you already have a Yahoo! ID then signing up is super easy, if you don’t you will need to take a minute to create one, but other than that it is easy to use.
It is a great tool for travel nurses because you can quickly search for all kinds of events in any city in the country. Once you find something you are interested in you can click one of two buttons “I’m Going” or “I’m Interested.” What a great way to plan your travel nursing itinerary or even discover new cities you want to work your next job in.
It is also a great way to keep track of where you have been by creating a “Scrapbook” of all the places you said you were going to attend in the months prior (I think this is how it works, I just set up my account).
This is a social networking tool (i.e. Facebook, MySpacce, etc.) but with a more narrow focus on events going on all over the country and great for travel nurses like you. That means you can even build your profile, invite your friends and see their events too.
